London is an enchanting, fairytale like city that is at the top of many people’s bucket list. There’s so much to see and do, eat and drink and truly immerse yourself in the Great British culture and history.

By day, it’s all about the tourist sites, from Buckingham Palace to the Houses of Parliament, rides along the river and walks through the park. But as night falls, London comes alive, from the West End to the small pockets that are alive with music, bars and more.

There’s so much to do in London by nightfall, and here are five of the best things you can do in the city…

    Table of Contents

    • See a West End Show
    • A Night at the Casino
    • Visit a Traditional London Pub
    • Do a Walking Tour
    • Enjoy a Michelin Star Meal

    See a West End Show

Outside of Broadway in New York, there’s nowhere better in the world to see a stage show than in London’s West End. Some of the most iconic shows on the planet originate in London, and you can see performances each and every evening.

The likes of The Mouse Trap, Phantom of the Opera, and even more recently Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are hugely popular, but you’ll find so many more, including plenty of brand new shows too.

    A Night at the Casino

You may also fancy putting on your glad rags and hitting the casino. If you’re an online player especially, showcasing the skills that you’ve honed playing online casino Netherlands, London or Paris at one of the finest land based casinos is a must.

You’ll find casinos to suit your needs, from fancy, private members and hotel guest only best clubs in london, to ones that are readily open to the public, such as the Hippodrome in the heart of Leicester Square.

    Visit a Traditional London Pub

London is well known for its pubs, and you can sample a pint of Great British ale in one of the city’s many traditional pubs. You’ll find one on every street corner, often also offering some hearty pub food too.

Make sure you do some Googling, as there are plenty of bad pubs in the city too, while if you’re a craft beer lover, there are dozens of amazing breweries operating in the city, with their own on-site bars.

You might even become inspired to begin your own craft beer business after visiting London breweries. But you’ll need knowledge of brewing, a good head for business, and a user-friendly brewery management tool, such as Ollie, if you want your craft beer brewing venture to be a success.

    Do a Walking Tour

There are so many great walking tours to enjoy during the day, but the same can be said at night too, and if you’re not much into the pub scene or want to enjoy London on a budget, then an evening walking tour could be perfect.

They get a little spookier and gruesome come the evening, with the likes of Jack the Ripper’s London, gangland London and ghosts and ghouls taking centre stage. But they are so, so much fun and incredibly interesting.

    Enjoy a Michelin Star Meal

There are a total of 69 Michelin-starred restaurants in London, and plenty more dining options that are in the Michelin Guide. You really can eat well in London and before visiting, it’s well worth nailing down some options and getting reservations made.
